Cutting-Edge Dental Implant Technology

In Dr. Alpert's ongoing mission to provide the highest quality of care, he has had, for the past five years, an in-office digital 3-D Cone Beam Scanner to compliment the other digital x-ray units in his office. The 3-D Cone Beam Scanner provides superior, in depth, three dimensional analysis of the patient's bone shape in order to plan most accurately for the placement of dental implants. Please be sure to ask Dr. Alpert how the 3-D Cone Beam Scanner can be most effective in creating the best treatment plan for you.

Single Implant Case #6

This patient had an upper front tooth that was malformed and much too small for the space that was present. The treatment consisted of the removal of this small "baby like" tooth and it was replaced with a dental implant and a cap. Orthodontics was used also to help create the right amount of space for the cap over the implant.

Single Implant Case #7

This patient had a left front tooth that was broken down to the gum line. There was an inadequate amount of tooth to place a post and rebuild the tooth for a new cap. It was deemed more appropriate to remove this tooth and place a dental implant as seen on the x-ray. The bone also needed to be regenerated.

Single Implant Case #8

This patient was missing her upper right eye tooth and had a malformed white filling put onto a tooth to attempt to make up for the lost tooth. The correct treatment was to remove the ill fitting restoration and to place a dental implant. The last image shows the patient twenty years after the implant was placed.

Single Implant Case #9

This patient had a broken tooth on the upper left side. The entire inside part of the tooth had broken off leaving the tooth unable to be fixed. The tooth was removed and a dental implant was placed. You can see the dark area in the x-ray which represents the portion of the tooth that was fractured off.

Single Implant Case #10

This patient had a badly infected lower right back tooth with severe disease at the end of the root of the tooth. It was deemed more appropriate to remove this second tooth from the back of the lower right side and replace it with a dental implant. This is often a prudent choice as opposed to having to "try" a root canal. It should be noted that the patient also ultimately had an implant done on the lower left side to replace a missing tooth.

Single Implant Case #11

This patient was missing the left front tooth when he came to Dr. Alpert's office. A dental implant was used to replace the left front tooth. Due to the very limited amount of space for the cap over the implant, the implant placement was very challenging. Due to Dr. Alpert's superb surgical skills the implant was positioned ideally. This enabled the dentist to make the proper cap both cosmetically and functionally.
