Digital 3-D Cone Beam Scans

Digital 3-D cone beam scans reduce the amount of radiation exposure compared to traditional x-rays by about 90%. The machine travels around the patients head in a semi circular motion while digitally capturing the shape of the jaw bones and the position of the teeth. One of the great features of the 3-D Cone Beam Scanner is that you never have to put anything inside your mouth during the procedure.

We have adopted this type of procedure as well as several others because patient comfort and safety is our top priority. Anytime we can minimize health risks and maximize patient comfort during a procedure we will.
